Utassy is proud to have had Arthur Turnbull (linage links back to Merce Cunningham) teaching at our school in 1989. Sue Hayes, Angela Magill, Marijke Lambregste, Kym Woodford, Yumi Sollier, Danielle Canavan, Suzanne Watts, Kate Horner and Nikki Hayes have continued that tradition, also creating classic full contemporary ballets thoughout the last 37 years
Students are encouraged to attend at least two classical classes before enrolling for additional Contemporary classes, which are options available for students from Junior Fourth upwards.
